Microsoft Building 5, Reading

Thames Valley Park is home to the UK headquarters of Microsoft, a campus nestled along the bank of the Thames in Reading. Our work at the campus was focused on Microsoft Building 5.

Eugen Phoenix Solution was brought in by principal contractors Overbury to build a recreational area with seating and an outdoor gym. The project started with excavating and laying an asphalt base, surfacing with rubber tarmac flooring, and installing channel drainage and cable ducting. Building out access to the area involved some concrete reinforcement work, putting in concrete steps, and paving the path surrounding the outdoor gym. We installed stylish slatted fencing to provide a secure enclosure to the area.

Some work was also carried out to install modern lighting for the adjacent car park, as well as a timber enclosure for a nearby outdoor bins storage unit.
